Unidentified Past Monsters Mathew has Battled!

We battled this cat-like creature yesterday, but we have little idea what it might be. Puma-sized, it has purple tentacles adorning its face and descending from its lower jaw. It squirts acid from its hind quarters. This acid smells like pickle juice. Mathew was unable to defeat it and it vanished back into the woods. We seek it again tomorrow, after Mathew recovers from the minor chemical burns covering 81% of his body.
He has decided to call it the PumMonster for now.
Here is a picture of one of the burns inflicted on Mathew by the acid spray. I have told him to quit his whining and suck it up because this injury would not even slow down an average child, but he is still complaining and insisted I post the photo so that you could see how he is "suffering".
