Unidentified Past Monsters Mathew has Battled!

We stalked this weird, tentacled lady after hearing that she had been attacking joggers in the park at night. Mathew pretended for several hours (poorly) to be a jogger, but the creature did not appear. I suspect this was because Mathew was completely unbelievable posing as anyone concerned about fitness. Regardless, just as we were about to give up, thick, greenish fog began to swirl about us. As we were enveloped, the tentacled lady attacked. She threw herself on Mathew and seemed to be trying to force her facial tentacles into his mouth and nose. Mathew wrestled with her in the grass for almost thirty minutes before he was finally able to break free and get to his sword. After that, he made short work of her. Afraid that we might draw unwanted attention from misguided authorities, Mathew panicked and flung her body into the river before we really had a chance to examine her and figure out what she was. Personally, I am suspicious that she may have been connected to the ancient and evil cult of Cthulhu.
